Foundational Matters: Establishing a Financial Covenant
When we think of a covenant, the first thought that generally comes to mind is marriage. While marriage is indeed a covenant, there are also other types of covenants that have been established and noted in the bible. The word covenant itself means to make a vow. It is a commitment between you and God in which you make a decision in your heart to remain faithful to it and honor it at all times. While marriage vows are sacred and important, so is making a vow concerning your finances. We should establish a Financial Covenant with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to be good stewards over our finances.
