My heart’s desire is for us as the body of Christ to walk in God’s perfect will for our lives. That means for God’s will to be done in every area of our lives. That includes spiritually: to fulfill God’s calling on our lives, mentally: for our minds to have perfect peace, physically: to walk in divine healing and health, financially: so we can finance the gospel of Jesus Christ to be preached in all the world and get past our own needs and be a blessing to others in need, in our relationships: having wonderful marriages and wonderful relationships with family, friends, neighbors, co-workers and acquaintances and to walk in divine protection: where the Blood of Jesus covers us, the angles of the Lord are around us and God’s hedge of protection is around us at all times. For God’s will to be done in our homes, on our jobs, in our schools, in our churches, in our neighborhoods, in our communities, in our cities, in our state, in our country and in our world. Where we are thriving and not just surviving, where everything that concerns us is blessed and God gives us our hearts desire. This sounds to me like heaven on earth. Jesus said in Matthew 6:10 for us to pray “Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven”. There’s no sin, sickness, broken relationships, poverty, debt or mental illness in heaven so why should we put up with it on earth. Many of us (including myself) have a way to go to get to this point but we should be taking steps every day of our lives to get there. One way to do that is not taking any mess from the devil. Whatever comes our way that doesn’t line up with God’s Word don’t accept it. Of course we will have temptations, tests and trials but we are over comers, more than conquerors and have the victory in Jesus Name. My pastor just preached there is a promise in God’s Word for any and everything you may go through. So find that promise and stand on it and don’t let it go. Let the devil know he has a fight on his hands. And don’t be ashamed to ask other Bible believing Christians to pray with and for you. Sometimes we need to be encouraged and that’s what this blog is all about. To encourage the body of Christ to walk in all God has for us. I also want to do my part to encourage those that don’t serve Christ to serve Him because He loves you. He died and rose for you and has a great plan for your life. Who wouldn’t want to serve a God like that.
